My Word For 2025

It’s officially 2025, and that means it’s time for new goals and resolutions. The last three-ish years I haven’t felt called to create any resolutions or even choose a yearly word. This year however was a little different. As I reflected on the last year I realized that it pushed me to grow in a lot of different and beautiful ways, and I also felt drained and lacking some “sparkle” among all the responsibilities that were on my plate and the short time frame to complete it all month to month and especially day to day.

So I knew that this year I had to go about things differently to make each moment feel enjoyable and to change my perspective on things.

My word for this year is Beauty.

Beauty to carve out time in the day to day moments when I am up early making breakfast for my beautiful step children, beauty as I fly out the door to my new job that may or may not have a cancellation I wasn’t planning on. Beauty as I call in more women to work in my mentorship with and call in more support to grow and expand my healing practice that brings me joy & lights up my soul to share in the world. Beauty as I lean into my edges and put self care and exercise at the forefront of my priorities this year as I plan on going back to school for my Masters degree. Beauty to enjoy time with my husband and friends.

I find that our rituals and intentions can either give life to what we desire, or takeaway and for me, I wanted more feminine energy, more magic, more ritual, and more space that comes from that even if I can’t really change my current schedule to be more aligned.

Maybe that’s the point- to know that even if we don’t have “control” over the ways that we can make life more manageable, we can still make it wonderful.
